- Clinical social work (3 hours on the current DSM): 6 hoursThree of the six hours must be a comprehensive review of the current DSM.

- Self-study / non-interactive hours (self-study): at most 20 hoursSelf-directed learning projects capped at 20 hours.
- Publishing a paper (writing or publishing): at most 20 hours
