Limits
- Coursework (attending courses, workshops, conferences): at most 20 hoursNo more than 20 PDH from any one activity category; most licensees fill the other 20 from supervision, presenting, independent learning or volunteer service.
- Independent learning (reading, self-directed study): at most 20 hours
- Presenting and teaching (presenting or speaking, teaching a course): at most 20 hours
- Mentoring, supervision and consultation: at most 20 hours
- Volunteer service (volunteer or pro bono service): at most 20 hours
- Publication, board service and other activities: at most 20 hours
- Up to 5 hours carry over to the next cycleUp to 5 PDH carry over to the next cycle.
Paperwork and other items
- Professional Practice Survey and Learning PlanComplete the survey, draft the learning plan, then earn PDH against it. No single activity type may exceed 20 PDH.
